Muri, O'Ban invite public to opening of new district legislative office

To better serve Pierce County residents, Rep. Dick Muri and Sen. Steve O'Ban are opening a 28th District legislative office in University Place. The public is invited to attend an open house and visit with O'Ban and Muri from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. The office is located at 7902 27th Street West, Suite 7A in University Place, which is next to the Pine Cone Restaurant.

“We want 28th Legislative District citizens to know that they have a united team working on their behalf and we are available to help them with any issues or questions they may have,” said O'Ban, R-Pierce County. “We hope people will drop by to introduce themselves and visit our local office at the open house on October twenty-sixth.”

“Even though Pierce County is relatively close to Olympia, we are only in Olympia a few months out of the year,” said Muri, R-Steilacoom. “A district office makes it much more convenient for people to share their concerns and feel like they are a part of what's happening with our state government.” Individuals who would like to meet with O'Ban are encouraged to call his legislative assistant in Olympia, Michelle Lewis, at (360) 786-7654. Appointments with Muri may be made by calling (253) 566-5652.   For more information about Rep. Muri, visit: houserepublicans.wa.gov/muri. For more information about Sen. O'Ban, visit: http://steveoban.src.wastateleg.org.
