Muri discusses Sound Transit bills and the newly introduced proposal to tax soda
Rep. Dick Muri, R-Steilacoom, speaks about the recent House approval of a bill that would lower Sound Transit car-tab taxes. Muri also shares information on his bill that would allow counties to exit the Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority. Finally, Muri gives an update on a bill to tax sugary drinks, like soda. He believes it’s the wrong way to raise revenue and says he will not support the measure.
